The Almond Insurance Industry Awards is initiated by Almond Productions Limited (Almond Global Group) to foster the best corporate management, leadership, governance, innovative and sustainable growth in the Nigeria’s insurance sector.
The Insurance Industry Awards and Consumers’ Nite is instituted to reward the “Can Do Spirit” of the Men and Women in the various arms of the Insurance Industry who strive daily to sell insurance either to Individuals or Corporate entities in Nigeria despite the myriad of challenges and obstacles they face.

2025 Award Process Methodology
The selection process for the 2025 Almond Insurance Industry Awards is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and credibility across all stages. Below is an overview of the process
Nomination
The process kicks off with nominations from Insurance Industry Operators and Corporate Clients across the various award categories. All entries must align with the nomination criteria provided by the Awards Panel of Judges.
Shortlisting
All received nominations are carefully reviewed by the Panel of Judges. Only entries that meet the specified standards are shortlisted for further consideration.
Streamline Nominations
The Judges then streamline the shortlisted entries to ensure that only the most qualified individuals and organizations move forward. This stage ensures full compliance with the set nomination guidelines.
Voting
- Voting is open to top and junior management staff within the insurance industry, as well as the general public.
- Each voter is allowed to cast only one vote per category.Multiple entries from the same email address are not permitted.
- A one-time password (OTP) system is in place to ensure that each vote is authentic and traceable.
- All entries in each category must be filled. No category should be left blank to maintain the integrity of the Awards
Final Screening
During the final screening, the Panel of Judges reviews the voting results. Where necessary, they may exercise their veto power to decide the most deserving winners. Final decisions are supported by verified data from the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) to reinforce accuracy and impartiality.
Process Publicity
Each stage of the selection process is well-publicized to maintain transparency. All nomination entries, scoring sheets, and voting data are securely documented and archived for accountability and future reference.
